What type of illumination is best for my microscope needs?
Answered By Evan Mattensen, Editor
The Kohler illumination, a built-in illumination is best for your needs and it will make your work a lot easier. It can produce specimen illumination that is uniformly bright and free from glare. It provides a high-quality image in microscopy and critical photomicrography.
Electrical lighting for the microscope is still the best since they can function even at night and at dark cast days.Samples of the bulbs they use are Tungsten bulbs, flourescent bulbs and halogen bulbs.
